Antique French Miniature Portrait of a Lady, 19th Century, Oval Gilt Frame

An antique French 19th Century miniature portrait of a lady. The watercolor is hand painted and signed “M.G. Enclosed in a gilt metal oval pendant style frame. The artist has captured her delicate features and brown eyes beautifully.

Measurements; frame 2 ¼” X 1 7/8”, portrait 1” X 7/8”

Condition Report; Very good, interior fabric I feel is original, gray fabric on back most likely a replacement. One of the 4 small pins on the frame is missing; however, the 3 that remain hold the portrait and glass tightly. One small flat chip on the glass which is not noticeable the glass is removed. The edge of the frame covers it.
