Silver plate menu card holder round in form with reeded and cross banded design on the edges. The menu holder is marked for James Dixon & Son including the trumpet and banner mark. Most likely produced for a branch of the English military there are six menu holders available. Generously sized with good weight. Six are available and sold separably.

English, c 1940, marked for James Dixon & Son, originally founded in Sheffield in 1806. They are well known for their sporting goods, whistles, and tea sets. The company produced the Hales Trophy which was commissioned in 1932 and the American Masters Golf Tournament trophy which was made in the late 1950’s.

Measurements; 2 3/8” high X base is 2 ¼” X 1 3/8” in depth

Condition Report; Overall very good, each holder has surface scratches and a small ding. All in accordance with age and use
