
An early server from Gorham Silver in the Ivy pattern. The waffle server has bright cut engraving on the serving blade and the handle is detailed with ivy and berries. An excellent example of Gorham’s craftsmanship.
American sterling silver, Gorham marks, Anchor & Lion for last quarter 19th Century. The server is also marked for Bailey & Co (retailer); Philadelphia 1848-1878 (eventually became Bailey, Banks, and Biddle)
