A boxed set of four fine English sterling silver napkin rings bearing marks for 1905. They are decorated with a method called “engine turned” and have raised decorative edges. Each napkin ring has a shield shaped cartouche on the front without engravings.
A fine wedding gift or anniversary gift which can be monogrammed with the recipient’s initials.
English, fully marked for sterling silver as denoted by the Lion Passant mark, assay town of Birmingham Anchor mark, date mark (f) for 1905, and makers mark (HM) for Henry Moreton
Measurements, 1 ¾” wide and 1 1/8” high, 94 grams total weight
Condition Report; overall very good, minor surface scratches in accordance with age and use. Outline of the shields has some wear most likely due to polishing. Box opens and closes well. Wear to the outside again consistent with age and use.
