Antique French Gilt Bronze Wreaths Shaped Ornamentation, A Pair, Empire Style
A pair of gilded bronze wreaths featuring cornucopias joined by ribbons. Further decoration includes laurel and oak leaves with berries. The pair most likely decorated a large piece of French furniture from the late 19th C. Beautiful embellishments from the past which are ready to be re-purposed today. The two ormolu wreaths are identical and display a time worn patina.

Condition Report; overall very good. There is a possible repair on one wreath. There is a small amount of discoloration seen from the front and back. It is quite discreet. Small holes are for attaching the wreaths.
