Antique Novelty Silver Equestrian Double Inkwell, C1900, Horse, Horseshoe Pen Holder, Jockey Caps

A fine novelty silver inkwell with an equestrian theme. The large double inkwell features jockey cap design lids on the inkpots. A large horseshoe shaped pen holder at the back of the inkwell has “nails” for a pen rest. In the center of the inkwell is a horse figure and in the front of the inkwell is a small well for change or small writing accessories.

An excellent addition to your desk or library.

Measurements; 12" long, 7" wide and 6 1/4" high

Condition Report; Overall very good condition, no chips or cracks on inkpots, one inkpot has a few breaks in inside silver rim (shown in photo) and one jockey cap lid has a little play. The horseshoe pen holder has a bit of play but is on tight. All in accordance with age and use of item.
