An antique crystal horseshoe shaped picture or photo frame with gilt inset. The frame has a wide gilt decorative band set inside and a purple silk background. The frame does have raised "nails" on the from; however, these are hard to photograph. A striking frame for your favorite photo.
Circa 1900, no marks found on the frame, most likely French in origin.
Measurements; 5 3/4" high X 6" wide; oval inset measures, 3 1/2" X 2 3/8"
Condition report; very good, one flat chip on a "nail" second from bottom right side.
