An antique French sterling silver tea strainer in the “over the cup” style. A single Lotus flower and rosettes adorn the handle. Guilloche style decoration encompasses the outside bowl of the strainer.

French C 1900, marked with French Minerve 1st standard (Titre) mark the sterling silver guarantee of .950 and the maker’s punch is for Louis Coignet, Paris a 20 rue Barbette (1893-1928)
