A Victorian Era silver needlework set comprised of scissors, darning hooks, crochet hooks, cork pull and a thimble. The scissors and other tools have ornate scrolls handles. They are encased in the original presentation box with velvet and silk lining.

A fine set for the collector of sewing items.

English sterling silver hallmarked with Lion Passant for .925, date letter Z for 1899, Anchor mark for Birmingham, and maker’s mark of JMB.
The thimble is marked for Charles Horner, 1902 and has bright cut engraved work. Though not original to the set it does complete the set.

Measurements; 4 1/2" in length, thimble is marked with the number 8, blades of scissors are marked Sheffield

Condition report; Very good, thimble is slightly out of round, case has wear to the leather edges.
