Antique Figural Sterling Silver Salt Cellars, Basket or Barrel C 1890

A pair of figural sterling silver salt and gilt cellars in the form of baskets or barrels. Fine details right down to the handles. A whimsical pair that can be used for other purposes when not on the dining room table.

A script monogram appears to be “CGA”. 

American sterling; marked for manufactor and  with the director’s letter of M for the Director Edwin Moore (1873-1891)

Measurements; 1 ½” in diameter and 3/4” high

Condition Report; Very good in accordance with age and use. One cellar has a tiny dent on the rim and one handle.
