Antique French Hand-Painted Shields, Armorial for Count, Tole Flag Holders
A pair of antique French tole plaques in the shape of a shield. The hand-painted pair feature the crown for a Count with the coronet bearing pearls. The blue plaques also feature a gold painted armorial and gold trimmed edges. These possibly could have been used to hold flags for a processional. Just in from France, I think these would make exceptional covers for wall sconces. The pair offer many options for display and having two makes the impact even better.
