French Tableware-Demitasse Cups and Saucers 

A French sterling silver demitasse cup and saucer.  The set is classic and clean in design, featuring a raised bon on both the cup and saucer.  They are adorned with Acanthus leaves which is a hallmark of refined French artistry.  The gilt or vermeil interior is in good condition and adds a hint of luxury to the set.

French sterling silver, C 1900.  Marked for .950 silver guarantee by the Minerve 1st standard.  The maker's punch is being researched.

Measurements; saucer, 4 1/4" in diameter, cup is 2 1/8" high and 2 1/2" in diameter (without handle).  Weights is 88 grams or 2.8 troy ounces. 

Condition Report;  slight surface scratches in accordance with age and use.  Slight loss of gilt interior of cup.
