Antique French Sterling Silver Tea Strainer, Gustave Keller C 1900

An antique French sterling silver and vermeil tea strainer C 1900. The beautiful over the cup style strainer has a delicate handle with Bell-flower and vine motifs. Very nice condition….a gift any tea lover would love to receive.

French sterling silver, marked for .950 silver guarantee and maker’s punch for Gustave Keller, 65 rue de Turbigo, Paris (1881-1922)
Keller's work was sought after due to the quality and design. His company was an official supplier of several courts including Russia, Greece, Spain and Romania. The last Tsar of Russian purchased was a frequent customer.
