Antique Polychrome Putto or Cherub Face with Wings
An antique putto or cherub face plague facing left. The polychrome cherub has been worked in shades of cream and burnt umber with a gilt wash.
A matching right facing cherub face is available.
Acquired in France, most likely Italian, C 1900. Made of plaster, with hook for hanging.
Condition Report; Very good, small flat chip on bottom of wing. There is a surface crack below the face which is stable. The plaque does have a small flat ring for hanging purposes.
