A whimsical set of twelve French silver plated dinner knife rests by Stephane Prudhomme, c.1930. Each one is cast with one of three scenes of Aesop's fables. They include: four of the tortoise and the hare, four of the two pots and four the of the fox and the stork. Excellent detail on each design.
French c 1930 marked with SP which I believe isfor Stephane Prudhomme and the number 12.
Measurements; 3 3/8" long X 1 1/8" high X 7/8"
Condition Report; Very good, normal surface scratches in accordance with age and use. One does not sit level; however, it does not affect it from holding a knife.
