A beautiful competition award or trophy marked for .800 French silver. Laurel leaves and oak leaves with delicate acorns embellish the piece. A small engraved plaque in the form of a ribbon decorates the bottom. There are two round hooks on the back; one for hanging and the other hook most likely is for mounting the award on a stand.
A stunning piece for display or to hang on a wall. Often these awards were crafted in metal; however, this one is marked with the Boar’s head French mark for .800 silver.
