Set of Eight Ramekins & Under-plates, Royal Crown Derby Mikado Pattern

A set of eight Royal Crown Derby ramekins with under-plates in a blue and white chinoiserie pattern. The Mikado pattern was designed in 1894 by the art director of Derby, Thomas Amos Reed. He used rice paper drawing that he had obtained in the Far East for his inspiration. It is a delightful pattern finished off with gilt edges. A fine set to mix with any solid white or blue and white dinnerware.

Marked for Royal Crown Derby, C 1945

Measurements: under-plates are 5” in diameter, ramekins 4” in diameter and are 1 ¼” high.

Condition Report; Overall very good, a few plates have age marks (these are shown in the pictures) One underplate has a very tight hairline that is only visible from the underside
