An antique English sterling silver menu or place holder hallmarked for 1899. The menu holder decorated in the Rococo style is in exceptionally good condition. A lovely addition for your table design.

English sterling silver as denoted by the Lion Passant mark (.925), also Anchor mark for the assay town of Birmingham, date letter for 1899, and maker’s mark for Grey & Co (founded in London by William Grey in 1876 and from 1886 to 1936-Grey & Co was known for their novelties in silver and supplied retail establishments such as Asprey & Co (London) and P. Orr & Sons
