Antique French Sterling Silver Timbale Goblet or Cup “Bernard” by Gustave Keller

An exquisite French sterling silver timbale or goblet with gold wash interior and inscribed for “Bernard”. Classic and sleek the cup has one decorative band around the top and no further design. The band features a floral vine with berries and has raised beaded work on the top and bottom. Solid in the hand the weight on the cup is 116 grams.

 French, Circa 1900 marked for .950 silver as denoted by the Minerve 1St Titre mark. Maker’s mark for Gustave Keller, Paris 1881-1922
