Antique Pair Carved Wood Panels with Sporting Theme, Game Birds

An antique pair of carved wood panels featuring a hunting or sporting theme of game birds. The panels are worked in a bas relief style on Beech-wood. Whether used in a library, over a fireplace mantel, or over a large kitchen range, the pair will add a fine dimension to your overall home design.

They had been previously painted or stained and it was removed prior to me acquiring them. There are traces of the stain/paint in the carved details which add to the overall pleasing design.

Measurements; 25 ½” high and 15 ¼” wide

Condition Report; Very good, one panel has an age crack which is stable due to the applied carving. Wire hangers are on the reverse side.
