An assembled decanter set which is comprised of a 19th blown glass decanter with painted gilt decoration, along with a label for Porto. The French silver and gold washed label has the maker’s punch for the well-regarded silversmith, Puiforcat.
An elegant combination for serving glorious, sweet Port wine whether it be before dinner, with cheese or as a digestif.
Decanter label is French and marked with the small item “crab mark” for .800 French silver (in use 1838-1984) The decanter label is marked for Puiforcat (1987-1945)

label measures 1 ¾” wide by 1” deep and chain is 3 ¾” long
Condition Report; decanter, overall good condition for age and use, some loss of gilt decoration, no cracks or breaks, small smooth chip of decanter stopper
label, Very good, micro scratches in accordance with age and use. The reverse side has a bit more, most like from where the label moved against a glass decanter
