A fine Mid 20th Century French sterling silver beaker or trophy cup. The timbale or beaker is engraved for a Men’s Doubles Tennis match 1956. Designed with a simple classic form resting on a concentric stepped base.

French, marked to the underside for Puiforcat of Paris. The cup also bears the punch mark for Puiforcat and the Minerva 1st mark for .950 silver.
