A matching pair of French sterling silver napkin rings beautifully designed in the manner of Louis XVI Rococo style. A large cartouche on the front of each napkin ring bears a monogram and is surrounded by shell motifs with fine details. Grand in style, both napkin rings weight a total of 95 grams or just over 3 troy ounces. Pairs of French napkin rings are not easy to find so please ask about my lay-way plan.
French, c 1900, .950 silver as denoted by the Minerve 1st Titre mark, makers mark RC for Ravinet (& Cie)with un trèfle or a clover
Measurements; 2 " in diameter and 1 1/2" high, 95 grams total weight
Condition Report; Very good, minor surface scratches. Both napkin rings are a bit out of round on each end and there are photos attached to show them. All in accordance with age and use.
